Check the air pressure in your tires at least once a month.

tiresMake sure you use an accurate tire gauge and measure the air pressure when the tires are cold. We recommend 32 lb. for most cars, and 40 lb. for light trucks. Over inflation is one of the major reasons for early tire wear. Check for any deep cuts or bruises on the side wall of the tire. This may be an indication of an impending blow-out. Look for worn out tires. This can be done by looking for the Treadwear Indicators that run at a 90 degree angle to the tread itself. When the tread and the TWI are equal in depth, it's time to replace your tires. Come in for a free alignment check and make sure to rotate your tires every 8,000 miles for even tire wear.
